Technical Overview & Engineering Design
This project encompasses the complete engineering cycle—from functional requirements to structural design—of a multi-axis manipulator arm integrated into the AgriRobot platform. Designed specifically for localized agricultural tasks, the arm features optimal load handling and highly precise trajectory tracking.
Mechanical Design & CAD
- Functional Analysis: Established via clear FAST diagram boundaries to guarantee target agricultural maneuvers.
- CAD Modeling: Designed and simulated completely using SolidWorks for structurally sound stress testing and alignment.
Kinematics & Automation
- Kinematic Modeling: Solved using Geometric Models (MGM/MIM) to ensure smooth multi-degree-of-freedom tracking.
- Hardware Architecture: Relies on precise electronic drivers, limit switches, and robust sensors to manage accurate positioning loops.
